bean salad Bean Salad - This nice cool dish would be best served with a small piece of red meat and grilled and served warm with the salad. Enjoy!

Ingredients to make Bean Salad

1 can (540 mL) chickpeas

1 can (540 mL) red kidney beans

1 can (540 mL) mixed beans

Olive oil, to taste

5 cloves garlic, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 tsp (10 mL) lemon juice

2 green onions, chopped

1/2 red pepper, quartered

1/2 green pepper, quartered

Salt, pepper, parsley, basil and oregano, to taste

Directions to make Bean Salad

Step 1:1.Rinse and drain all the beans
Step 2:2.In a bowl, combine all the other ingredients. Add the beans.
Step 3:3.Refrigerate for one day before serving.
